We’ve all had an “Undo Send” moment when it comes to email, right?
The gmail team engaged Proton to produce a launch video for their new feature which could retract a message. Since the feature had some fun storytelling potential, we settled on coming up with some comic themes and partnered with an improv writer to stretch the boundaries of ideation.
Proton and the smart folks at Google finessed the scripts until we refined down to the as produced version. We animated the storyboards, then captured screen grabs and slowly moved to a vectorized finished render with custom music.
That’s our favorite part of the process, creating a solution for an everyday customer’s unmet need, and leveraging that to make something great.
